Eco Friendly
At Medeko, we believe that sustainability is a key part of our corporate culture and long-term strategy. Our commitment to being an open and environmentally responsible company is reflected in a variety of ongoing initiatives:
- We are part of the circular economy — we trade in and utilize metal waste in our production processes.
- Metal waste from our own operations — such as scrap, chips, and rejected parts — is reprocessed in our melting furnaces and reused in the products we manufacture.
- Since 2019, we have been partially powered by solar energy, thanks to photovoltaic panels installed on several of our building rooftops and a vacant lot next to one of our production halls.
- In our production, we use heat recovery systems that reuse residual heat for space heating and water heating.

- We sort all production waste, and a significant portion is sent for further recovery and reuse.
- Pollutant emissions are captured by modern ventilation systems equipped with filters. We regularly measure emissions and ensure they remain within permitted environmental limits.
- Every year, we participate in the “Bike to Work” initiative and encourage our employees to commute without motor vehicles.
- Charging stations for electric cars and scooters are available to both employees and visitors.
